Niseko’s finest stood out amongst Asia’s top property markets at the 2023 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards held in Bangkok, Thailand. 
The award ceremony for the Greater Niseko region consisted of 15 categories celebrating the contributions of the area’s new developments. Apex Property took home the coveted award for Best Developer for its developments Hanaridge and Hanacreek, while Aki Niseko by Takuetsu Co., Ltd. came away with wins in other major categories. Other winning distinctions for Greater Niseko included Niseko Kyo by Rooftop RE (japan) Pte Ltd; and Niseko Area Mountain Bike Association (NAMBA).

The particular importance Niseko brings to the Asian property market was highlighted in a speech given by Midori no Ki CEO and chairperson of the Greater Niseko awards, Eddie Guillemette.

“The appeal of Niseko is not just limited to winter; we are trying hard to establish the region as a year-round destination and have gained traction, with activities such as hiking, biking, golfing, summer camps for kids, and a cooler climate.  With the covid restrictions in the rear view mirror, Niseko is back to pre-pandemic investment and tourism levels. “

“We now have a stage, where we can applaud the individuals and projects that contribute to the uniqueness of this place we call home, ” Guillemette continued.
