Takeo Drive is located in the Arishima neighborhood of Niseko, postcode 048-1531.

This area is named after Takeo Arishima, a classic Japanese writer and philanthropist, who donated the family’s Niseko farmland back to the tenant farmers of the area before his passing. A museum in his honor is located two minutes away by car and features a quaint gallery and café; the museum also has beautifully manicured grounds, ideal for picnics and playtime with children.

Takeo Drive is surrounded by untouched forest, offering complete privacy aside from neighboring properties. Beyond the forest are local farms that produce some of Japan’s highest-quality fruits and vegetables. During the summer, roadside stands offer fresh produce for visitors to take home. Mt. Niseko Annupuri, the central mountain of the Niseko ski area, and Mt. Yotei are both visible from almost all second-floor plots.

Arishima is becoming a hub for local artisans, with many shops and businesses opening. Among the highlights are Takano’s Coffee, Amakaraya Organic Shop, Seed Bagel Company, and Birch Tree Café.

  • Niseko Train Station – 8 min.
  • Grand Hirafu Ski Resort – 15 min.
